Special Education PTA

Get involved with the Special Education Committee:

The Franklin Special Education PTA was created to build a support system for parents of disabled students. The goal is to help create a positive learning environment for both parents and staff at Franklin and in the community. To support families of children with disabilities, we aim to provide proactive solutions to issues parents may have, and to help with the IEP process. To support our community, we offer information and resources (books, organizations, therapists, etc.) to better educate people on the needs of our amazing children. Throughout the year we create activities and programs that will benefit all children and their families.  We encourage all parents to volunteer and participate in parent-to-parent support.  As parents of children with disabilities, we understand that parenting requires additional support and we hope to help provide that for anyone in need.

Please contact Betsy Marsolan if you would like to get involved with the Special Education Committee. Learn more information about Special Education at Franklin and at the district here.
