PTA Funded Field Trip is Music to the Ears!

3RD GRADE FIELD TRIPS ARE MUSIC TO THEIR EARS

Each third grade class takes a field trip to the Santa Monica Conservatory of Music (owned by a Franklin alumni parent). The instructors perform a lively demonstration (including Darth Vader's theme played on cello!), then break out into small groups so kids can experiment hands-on with trumpet, clarinet, cello, guitar, piano and voice. Now we're ready for 4th grade band, choir and orchestra!
