Every year, Franklin 5th graders help a worthy cause as they prepare for the bigger world after Franklin. This year, the chosen cause is helping homeless families through the Upward Bound House. Food donations will be collected in the front office on Monday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 16th.

Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company. They are bringing their fully autonomous public ride-hailing service, Waymo One, to Franklin for the Science Club on Wednesday, April 19th at 6pm. During the presentation we will learn about the technology that allows the vehicle to navigate city streets with no driver! Students will have an opportunity to ask questions and get an up close look at the all electric Jaguar I-Pace that is equipped with Waymo technology. The presentation will be in the MPR (enter the campus by Cafetorium) and the demo vehicle will be on the Blacktop.

Let us pick Lettuce!!! Did you get a special delivery from a gardening club student-gardener this Wednesday? We had so much fun picking and packing our lettuce heads with the help of our awesome volunteer and Franklin alum - Margaret. The students loved sharing our leafy goodness with families and staff.
