Support for Immigrant Families

The SMMPTA Council stands with immigrant families and will provide resources from California State PTA to ensure safe, informed and supportive school communities.

Here’s the new California State PTA guidance document which offers resources in regard to responding to immigration enforcement in or near schools and in our communities.

This digital "pamphlet" provides practical advice and support for PTA units, including Know Your Rights information, multi-language resources, California and federal protections, and updates on relevant 2025 legislation.
