Science Club: We Are Star Stuff- Searching for Oxygen All Over the Universe, Tues, Nov 18th, 6pm, Cafetorium

We are thrilled to have Dr. Alice Shapley from the UCLA Department of Physics and Astronomy come and present on the link between humanity and stardust! She will explain the cosmic origins of different kinds of atoms and the ways in which astronomers are finding these different types of atoms across the entire universe, even in the most distant galaxies. There will be hands-on activities to keep young ones and preteens alike engaged!

When: Tuesday, November 18th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Where: Franklin Cafetorium

Who: TK-5th Franklin students only, must be accompanied by a parent or group guardian
