PTA Reflections - What My Culture Means to Me
It is time for our annual Reflections Art Contest! If your child is a budding artist, interested in creating new things, or wanting to showcase some original art-this is the time! Every year, the National PTA runs the Reflections art contest asking students to reflect and then make art on a theme. This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.” A meaningful idea to explore and reflect on as we kick off the school year. We have 6 categories – visual arts, music, choreography, film, photography, and literature – to channel their expressions, and each entry must be coupled with a statement from the little artist themselves as they explain their piece and how it relates to the theme.
