Parent Ed Recap: What we Learned About Lice

On Tuesday, January 27th, Nurse Keyry and Nurse Priscilla held a Parent Education seminar to tackle a subject on every parent’s mind: Lice. They defined what lice are, how they spread, how to treat lice and how best to avoid getting lice in future. They also discussed the Franklin protocol when it comes to finding lice in a student. notifying classrooms and returning to school. 

The nurses generously shared their presentation for parents who were unable to attend, along with a one-page overview of the school’s procedures for various illnesses.
