District DEI Event on May 15th at JAMS

Parents, caregivers, and older students are invited to join SMMPTA and SMMCTA for this timely, interactive DEI event, Sticks and Stones: Getting Real About The Power of Words and Symbols, which includes free dinner, on May 15th at JAMS Performing Arts Studio. Space is limited; RSVP here: https://forms.gle/bjqZE374AM7UaZN17

This special DEI event for SMMUSD students, parents, teachers, and staff members will be held in response to the harmful slurs and hateful symbols we experience in our world, and even in our schools.

Kim Marshall, SMMUSD's Social and Emotional Learning Teacher on Special Assignment, is the facilitator.
