2nd Annual Chess Tournament Recap

Congrats to the top 10 finishers!!!

Last Saturday, about 40 students participated in Franklin’s 2nd Annual Chess Tournament and Exhibition, showcasing impressive skill, sportsmanship and remarkable endurance as they competed for nearly four hours. The event highlighted not only strategic thinking but also the students’ dedication and focus throughout the matches.

Congrats to the top 10 finishers who will go on to represent Franklin at its first-ever inter-school chess tournament this Saturday, April 25th, from 12-4pm at Franklin. They will compete against top players from Roosevelt, Grant and McKinley! Good Luck!
