2nd Annual Franklin Chess Tournament and Exhibition: Sat, April 18th at 10:00am, Cafetorium

Join us for a fun day of chess at Franklin Elementary School!  All Franklin families are welcome.  Sign up here by Monday, March 30, so that we can get an accurate headcount for planning purposes.  The tournament and exhibition will occur at Franklin's cafetorium.

We’ll start the day at 10:00 am with a time-limited 45-minute exhibition by our very own coach, Josh Gutman.  Coach Josh is a National Master and he has agreed to play up to 20 games of chess against 20 different kids, all at the same time.  Any student who wins, draws, or is still in the game after 45 minutes will receive a prize.  

After the exhibition, the kids will play a chess tournament, with prizes available for the top finishers in different grade levels.
