Bike It! Walk It! Bus It! Block Party: Friday, May 8th, 7:30-8:30am @ Idaho & 24th

Please join us for our Bike It, Walk It Block Party on Friday, May 8th starting at 7:30am on Idaho between 23rd and 25th.

May 4th – May 8th is “Bike It! Walk It! Bus It! Week” in Santa Monica and Malibu to promote eco-friendly transportation. The week culminates with a district-wide competition on Friday, May 8th, to see how many kids from each school walk, bike, scoot, or bus to school. To celebrate the event and encourage participation, Franklin will host a block party Friday morning from 7:30 am – 8:30 am at Idaho & 24th. There will be donuts, games and music! Teachers will tally participation numbers in the classroom and the school with the highest percentage will win the Golden Sneaker. Last year, Franklin lost the Golden Sneaker to Grant Elementary, so we need a huge turnout this year to win it back!
