Returning to Franklin Next Year? Complete the Parent Input Form by Friday, April 24th

Believe it or not, we will soon begin composing classes for next year. While this is done based on our projected enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year, we would like to give you the opportunity to give us some information about your child if you feel it may be helpful as we work to compose classes. Although we will not accept requests for a specific teacher or specific friends, information from this form will be considered to determine the best placement. However, if you have an older child who was placed with a teacher, and you feel that the same placement for your younger child would or would not be a good fit, then please state that on the form and we will do our best to take that into consideration. If you have more than one child at Franklin, please submit another form for each child.  

Completing the bottom portion of this form is not required, however information you provide can be helpful. The teachers and administration at Franklin School are dedicated to ensuring the best for all students and we are looking forward to a wonderful 2026-2027 school year.  

Finally, class formation is a complicated and thoughtful process. Our primary goal is to create academically and socially balanced classes that meet the requirements of gender equity, ethnic diversity, behavior needs, leadership, and special needs, while providing a nurturing classroom community where your child can grow academically and socially. Most importantly, all teachers on the Franklin campus are highly skilled and qualified, and have the best interests in mind for all students. With that being said, class placements will be final, and we will not be able to honor class change requests during the school year.Please note that no other emails regarding classroom placement will be accepted by administration other than this input form. Please trust us to do the best job of placement for your child.
