Dear Franklin Families,

It was nice to see so many of you on campus last week celebrating a variety of ways in which your children are enjoying new learning adventures at Franklin! If you are volunteering on campus at all this month, please take a moment to check out the AMAZING 4th grade bulletin board in our main hallway showcasing all of the Remarkably Responsible acts going on in 4th grade! We are very excited to see so many real life in action examples of our 4th graders being responsible and hope that every Franklin student benefits as a result.

Valet Drop-Off Update

We continue to need everyone’s cooperation to get the Idaho Gate valet drop-off working as smoothly and safely as possible. There is a loading-only zone spanning from 25th Street to the alley from 8 am - 9 am every morning. Please do not park cars in this zone and walk your child to the gate, as this is creating significant back up in the valet. If you choose to pull up in this zone in the morning, please only use it for loading your children out of the car without leaving the car unattended. I was happy to see SMPD on Idaho this week helping to reinforce the posted signage and safety measures.

Thank you again for your daily home-school partnership in helping to make Franklin safe at pick up and drop off for all students and families.
