Hello Franklin Families,

 Thank you to everyone who participated in our annual Franklin Camp Out last Friday! It was a great success with wonderfully festive tents, food, s’mores, arts and crafts, and lots of fun! We are so appreciative of the many parent volunteers who make these incredible Franklin events possible! This week all teachers have spent time in their grade level teams with me and our instructional coach, Liz Cochran, analyzing and reflecting on their student achievement data. The photo here is a snapshot of a grade level in action. It has been a very productive and thoughtful time to thoroughly understand their students’ strengths and specific areas for improvement, so that teachers can target their instruction accordingly. 

It is hard to believe that next Friday is already Halloween – wow! I am enjoying talking to so many students on the yard as they share their creative ideas for Halloween costumes. Our Franklin Halloween Parade will be on our yard at 8:45. Please see all of the great info below about the parade map and volunteer procedures. Entrance to the parade will be through the back gate on Idaho, not the Montana front office. Thank you for your cooperation and wishing everyone a Happy Halloween!
