Dear Franklin Families, Thank you for visiting our Book Fair this week and for all of your support! It was a tremendous success and all of your children had a wonderful time surrounding themselves in a diverse and engaging assortment of literature. We are so thankful for our many parent volunteers, who made this week-long special event possible! We are excited to be in our first week of launching our new Franklin Core Value of Honesty. Look at the amazing bulletin board (photo above) that our TK students and teachers created, where they shared; “A time I was honest was when….” Some great books around honesty that we know you will enjoy reading with your children are; The Empty Pot, A Day’s Work, Jamaica’s Find, and Lying Up a Storm. Student Government has been putting their heads together to come up with some very exciting School Spirit Days next week! Fun, festive and fabulous Franklin FUN days are in action next week: Matching Monday- Wear the same clothes as a friend! Tuesday- Talent Tuesday- What's your talent? Wednesday- Color Change Wednesday - ONE color from head to toe! Thursday- Franklin Spirit Wear Friday- Pajama Day- One stuffed animal allowed, but no slippers! Please remember that our last day before the winter break, Friday, December 19th is a minimum day for all students: TK/K Dismissal is at 12:15 and 1st – 5th Grade dismissal is at 1:30. Fondly,
