Hello Franklin Families,

We had a fun and festive Halloween parade today – thank you to everyone who joined in our fun!

Next Friday, November 7th, is our monthly assembly at 8:40 on the big yard, where 3rd grade will be launching our next Core Value, COOPERATION, and we will be gearing up for our 11/14 Move-a-Thon. We are striving for 100% participation and we greatly appreciate all of your support in our biggest fundraiser of the year! 

Please take note of the new class seating and parent viewing chart that the staff has created to help students get in and out of the assembly safely (see chart below).

In honor of Día de los Muertos, we have put together an Ofrenda on the stage of the cafetorium, and it will be up for viewing all next week – thank you to the parents and students for their creative work on this meaningful display.

We begin parent/teacher conferences on our pupil-free day, this Tuesday, November 4 and then on minimum days; November 5th, 6th, and 7th. Our teachers dedicate much of their time preparing for these conferences, so that the information you receive regarding your child’s strengths, areas for improvement, and overall progress is clearly communicated to you. This ends up being a wonderful time for parents and teachers to connect and establish goals that everyone can work together to support. Our home-school partnership with you is essential, valued, and so appreciated. Thank you for making your child’s conference a priority!
